What is Spider Veins?

Spider veins are small superficial veins with a branched, reddish or bluish appearance. They are common and usually harmless, but many people choose to treat them for aesthetic reasons or discomfort.

Laser light is applied directly over the veins. Its energy heats the vein walls, causing them to close and gradually fade. This process, called selective photothermolysis, targets the vein while sparing the surrounding skin.
