The treatment

What is PRP?

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is prepared from a small sample of your own blood, concentrated to isolate the platelets and their growth factors.

On the face, it is used to improve texture and fine lines and to help with scarring. On the scalp, it is an adjuvant therapy for hair loss, particularly androgenetic alopecia, helping to improve thickness and slow shedding.

Blood sample
A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm.
Concentration
The sample is processed to separate the plasma rich in platelets.
Application
The plasma is injected into the target area, or applied after microneedling on the face, to stimulate renewal.

Questions about PRP

How many sessions will I need?

Results build over a course. For hair, sessions are usually spaced a few weeks apart; we offer a 2-session plan. Aline will recommend the right protocol.

Is PRP safe?

Because it uses your own blood, the risk of allergic reaction is very low. A full suitability check is always carried out first.

Does it hurt?

You may feel some discomfort from the injections; we do everything we can to keep you comfortable.

When will I see results?

Skin improvements build over the weeks after treatment; hair results take longer and are assessed across the course. Results vary.
